Aurora Hydrogen advancing low-carbon hydrogen energy market

In a bid to combat climate change and reduce carbon emissions, Aurora Hydrogen is making strides in advancing the low-carbon hydrogen energy market.

The Canadian-based company is doing so by spearheading innovative efforts to harness the potential of hydrogen as a clean energy source. This includes their sponsorship of the Open Hydrogen Initiative’s recently released open source toolkit, which standardizes the carbon intensity measurement of hydrogen for the global market. 

“At Aurora, we believe that low-cost, low-carbon hydrogen is necessary to bring the market to its full potential scale, and the first step to recognize low-carbon hydrogen is to drive consistency on how we are calculating carbon intensity,” said Dr. Andrew Gillis, co-founder and CEO of Aurora Hydrogen.
