Canada must continue cutting emissions regardless of the actions of other polluters

We need cooperation among nations to reduce global emissions. Even countries such as Canada, which is not on the top list of major emitters, need to find ways to expedite decarbonization.

If we switch our view from country emissions to per capita emissions — and to historical contributions to global warming — the balance of responsibility shifts and we have a more accurate idea of how we can make changes.
